About Know Name Studios

It started in 2002, as Know Name Models — a small agency built around one goal: images and film that felt honest, polished, and worth remembering. Not long after, that idea grew into Know Name Studios, a photography and video production agency producing work for clients who needed something professional, distinctive, and built to last.

Over the following two decades, Know Name Studios expanded well beyond its original scope — branching into publishing, and working across countless photographic, video, and print projects for nearly 25 years. Along the way, the studio built something harder to teach than any single skill: an eye for which stories deserve to be told, and the craft to tell them well, across whatever medium the story actually needs.

Now, at the edge of a new era in creative technology, that experience is being put to its most personal use yet. AI has made it possible to move faster across mediums than ever before — but speed was never really the hard part. Taste is. Know Name Studios exists to pair nearly 25 years of that hard-earned creative judgment with the new capabilities AI makes possible — not to replace the human eye behind the camera, the pen, or the mixing board, but to extend it.

The mission has always been the same: make sure the people we work with are properly, permanently known — their name, their story, their life, remembered the way it deserves to be.

Larry King's own Know Your Name piece — the same process, told on ourselves.
